I AM Worthy! Yes, I AM!

​There is a wonderful book called The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks in which the notion of "Your Upper Limit" is discussed.  What is an upper limit?  The best way that I can answer that is by asking you a question.  Have there been times in your life when you were on a roll!  Life was good! You were successful, whether it be in work or relationships or just life in general?  And then, out of the blue, things started falling apart?  Gay’s notion is that we are comfortable with a certain amount of success but we can reach a limit (the upper limit) where we can’t seem to accept our greatness and we self-sabotage.​

At first when I discovered this notion I was not sold on the idea. Then it happened!  I was flying high on life and out of the blue I hit rock bottom.  Then I paid attention.  I replayed my life in my head and sure enough…I could see how I was responsible in some way for my plunges into failure.  Self- Sabotage. ​
I bring it up because an underlying cause seems to be a sense of unworthiness.  Oh, how we love to point fingers at ourselves. We are so quick to self- flagellate!  And I know this as I have several energetic welts on my back from all of that whipping! OUCH!​

​I offer my support and a simple solution! I can only offer this because of my own personal experience.  Filled with self-doubt I started the long climb to understanding my worth.  My friends, what I told you in the opening paragraph of my website is true! You are a divine gift to the world.

 Only you can do what you do!  Unwrap the amazing gift that you are and let yourself shine!  No matter what you think you may or may not have done…what we have is NOW!  Let go of any notion you have that you are not worthy of success, of love, of perfect health.  YOU ARE WORTHY!
 
So I invite you to look into the mirror right now!  Look in the mirror and say 5 times with a big smile and much feeling “I AM Worthy of Success!  I AM Worthy of Success!  I AM Worthy of Success!  I AM Worthy of Success?  I AM Worthy of Success?” And if you have essential oils on hand, inhale Helichrysum, Ylang Ylang or Frankincense!  

​Either way…afterwards, stand in stillness and take a few deep breaths…and know how amazing YOU ARE! I recommend that you do this daily:
  • When you are brushing your teeth! (that will bring a smile)
  • Whenever you pass a mirror.  
  • When you get in your car and look in the rearview mirror.

Plant Energy!  Using essential oils energetically!

I love essential oils.  I love to use them therapeutically! I love that they do amazing things!  But what is my favorite way to use essential oils?  Energetically! The oils, based on many factors, do indeed support energetic and emotional issues.

Here is a practical example! Are you stuck? Feeling unmotivated? Get out some Black Pepper Essential oil!  Black Pepper helps to reduce fear, motivate change and...release blocked energy! Well, think about it!  What happens when you inhale black pepper?  Anything that was stuck up your nostrils comes flying out!  (EWWWWWW!)

It can be a concept that is challenging to grasp and all I can say is that I have been privileged to study with some amazing Aromatherapists, Energists, Intuitives and more!  On top of that, as an Energist myself, I have a lot of anecdotal evidence!  So sometimes it is simply a matter of trust!

Essential oils are often used for clearing energy from a home, balancing Chakras, supporting massage and energy work, giving more power to affirmations and so much more! There is a lot to it, and I do teach a class that goes into the whys and hows! But for today I wanted to share some of my favorites!! (Yes! Black Pepper is one of them!)

Patchouli and Marjoram (there are others) are my “go tos” for quieting the overactive mind and releasing obsessive thoughts!  Pair it with some Bergamot essential oil and you have a wonderful massage blend when you need to step out of your head and feel calm, yet uplifted!

Often, during Positive EFT, I ask people “How do you want to feel?”  What do you think is the #1 answer?  Happy! Joyful! Here is one of my favorite “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” diffuser blends!
  • 3 Drops Orange
  • 2 Drops Lime
  • 1 Drop Geranium

Orange and Lime are uplifting oils. (They do a lot more!) and Geranium is a wonderful oil for release (both therapeutically and energetically).  If you want to release Negative memories etc, Geranium can help!  It is an aromatically potent oil, thus the one drop!

Sometimes, before jumping to “Happy” there is some self nurturing that needs to be done!  Are you taking care of yourself? Are you deeply critical of yourself (and others?). Do you want a hug from my beautiful, Italian Grandmother, Rose? Yes you do!  She was the epitome of unconditional love! And Rose essential oil will do that for you! Put it on your Heart Chakra, close your eyes and know how loved you are!  Rose oil brings in the feeling of love for oneself and others! It soothes anger!  It heals despair! 

I often carry Rose oil with me! I often end up giving it away...I named my daughter, Alexandra Rose after Grandma Rose, who appeared to me during Alexandra’s birth! I needed that love and encouragement! 

I end with Rose! I invite you to do something right now to nurture yourself! Deep Breath. I invite you right now to know how loved you are! Deep Breath. I invite you right now to fully grasp...that you are indeed Divinely Essential!

    At 66, I am still honoring my hippie roots, although I do occasionally shave my legs, I love Essential Oils! And not just Patchouli! 

    I still listen to cassette tapes, still send paper checks, I am technically challenged but here I am!  Why? Because others were there for me!  I am here for you!
